| I've actually been writing (very) few posts about actionScript in the past but I think I should write more on this. |
| Its not like I am a master of coding but if someone happen to stumble a problem that I've had before hopefully my blog post will help this person - provided I have found a solution...
I might start by writing about techniques I've used. What practices I agree and what not, etc... If I may rate my own skills: ActionScript AS2/3 - Advanced Objective-C - above average JavaScript - average PHP - basics JAVA - very basics HTML/XML? - u kidding? I don't consider my self as an educated developer. I didn't graduate with science bachelor, I graduated with arts bachelor, tho I did get to do fair amount of coding in uni projects. Most technical details I know are learned through experience, trial and error. When I first started uni, I didn't plan to become a coder. I wasn't sure what I wanted to be. Given a few chance to code for some interactive stuff, I started to like coding more and more. Some may not agree with this but coding is like art with goal. You want something to happen, how you make it happen is all up to you. Its all great as long as it works well. (90% of the time people haven't got a clue how its done anyway) Like I used to make movies, now I am making games. Currently flash games, but either flash grows into a more hardcore gaming platform or I'll someday grow out of it! :D So for now, Flash ActionScript it is then! |
